How To Fight Devil’s Fig Workshop

FREEA workshop hosted by Kyogle Landcare and The Weedy Garden, with practical advice on “How to Fight the Devil’s Fig” at the Cawongla Community Centre.
A note from “The Weedy Guy” (David)…
“Devils Fig still mostly only found in the Northern Rivers. Council, Landcare and the county can`t do anything due to lack of resources. If someone doesn`t do something, it`ll be all over Australia within the next 50 years or less, so I want to initiate some work bees.
After the workshop at the Community Center, we`ll go to The Weedy Garden property, to do some hard yakka clearing them on the 42 acres here. I need a hand, and am willing to give my hand to help those who help me. This is where community really needs to step up folks. Let`s be the ones who start the ball rolling and come to Cawongla on the 28th.
Bring suitable clothing for bush clearing and your saws, machetes and spray pumps if you want to be part of the first work bee.
BBQ, chatting and drinks for the worker bees in the garden or the bush kitchen after the massacre is done. I`ll supply the drinks and BBQ if you want to bring a dish to share of something…or some cake”.
